Fall Colors

Pleasant Bay is perfectly located halfway round the famous Cabot Trail, one of the most scenic drives in Canada. The 25 mile journey from Cheticamp where you enter the Highlands National Park takes in some of the most spectacular of this scenery. Fall has become one of more popular times of the year to see the Cabot Trail. The colors of the leaves are said to be astonishing for that perfect photo.

With the already unbelievable scenery, the fall colors enhance the beauty of the cliffs and ocean views like no other place in Canada.

The Celtic Colours Music Festival has become one of Canada's best festivals, combining the beauty of fall with some of the finest Celtic music in the world, for more info see www.Celtic-Colours.com

Fall is favoured by hikers that want a little more peace and quiet, with days not being too hot. Longer hikes like Pollets Cove are very enjoyable this time of year. for more info see www.CabotTrail.com/hiking

Fall is the time when moose (bull moose) are a little more unpredictable, one should not try to get close to a bull moose as they are on the look out for female moose. (cow moose)
