Welcome
to Mike's place, situated on the scenic Cabot Trail. Stop in for some
really good food, and some great old fashion Cape Breton hospitality.  The
view from our deck is truly breathtaking with the mountains on one side
and the gulf of St. Lawrence on the other.Whales are busy entertaining
our customers from our deck,you will even see the ocassional bald eagle
soaring through the sky or sitting in nearby trees.The atmosphere is informal,nothing
fancy, just good food and good prices. We are known for our lobster rolls,
the best on the island we've been told.The fish&chips are second to
none.Our burgers are good old fashion burgers and taste the way a burger
is suppose to taste. Try our homemade chowder,or clams&fries,we also
have some vegetarian food such as homemade salads and veggie dogs, or
check out the catch of the day. There is sure to be something on the menu
that will tempt your tastebuds.  It's
not easy to describe the taste or the scenery so stop in and see and taste
for yourself. When you stop in take a minute to sign our guest board,
if you were in before and signed the board in previous years, stop in
and find your name among the decor,and remember your past vacation.We
have six years of names on the wall now! We're always glad to see you
again,we've met so many wonderful people over the past years.We're looking
forward to meeting more people from all over the world again this season!
We're the"funky" little place in Pleasant Bay with brightly coloured lobster
traps on the roof and A fishing dory in the yard filled with gramma Jessie's
flowers growing out of it.It's a fun little place but don't let the size
fool you cause we're real big on taste! Hope to see you this season! |
