Welcome to Timmons Folk Art a collection of unique art work brought to you by Reed & Sue Timmons, from Pleasant Bay, Cape Breton, N.S.The gallery opened in 1994,and has been visited by folk art collector's and gift seekers from all over the world.

Our shop is certainly a reflection of the mountains and ocean and all the wildlife thereof . However -----we also create unique variety of whimsical animals such as cats, giraffes, moose, roosters ,mice, beaver ,puffins ,etc. We created such an unusual shop that it became a tourist attraction. The shop is entirely made of wood and is surrounded by beachstone paths and unusual gardens.

Reed Timmons is a lobster fisherman who started carving seagulls and whales for a hobby in his off time . His wife , Sue, loves operating her own business. Both husband and wife have enjoyed crafts and painting all of their lives . Sue enjoys spending time with her customers and mails carvings to towns and cities all over North America.



Timmons Folk Art is located in Pleasant Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, two and ½ hours from the Canso Causeway, half way around the Cabot Trail. As you drive towards the harbor in Pleasant Bay you will come across our very unique looking little shop, unlike anything you've experienced on your Cabot Trail journey. That is just the beginning, wait until you walk in!
